SPORT FISHING

Because the islands are perched on the edge of the Puerto Rico Trench, a six mile drop-off that’s the deepest hole in the Atlantic Ocean, some of the most challenging sport fish in the world are found here, including blue marlin, wahoo, tuna, dolphin and kingfish. There are several operators who offer half or full-day deep-sea fishing expeditions, and provide bait, tackle, ice and beer!

GOLF

It’s hard to imagine a more spectacular golf course than “Mahogany Run”. This 6,200 yard, par 70 masterpiece is perched on the northside hills just 5 minutes from Villa Silk Cotton. The 13th,14th, and 15th holes are called the Devil’s Triangle, and once you’ve seen them, you’ll understand why. This part of the course is situated along towering cliffs that overlook the Atlantic Ocean. There’s a driving range, putting green, pro shop, resident pro, and snack bar at the clubhouse.
